Indonesian relief goods for Rohingya reach Chittagong

17 September 2017, Nirapad News: A total of 20 tonnes of relief materials from Indonesia for the Rohingya refuges in Bangladesh arrived at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport today.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Habibur Rahman, (Education and ICT), received the relief materials from Indonesian officials at the airport.

Earlier, Indonesia sent 37 tonnes of relief materials by its four chartered flights on September 13.

Indonesian Ambassador in Dhaka Rina P Sumarno, formally handed over 37 tonnes of relief materials to the Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Zillur Rahman Chowdhury.

The relief materials included blankets, tent making equipments, edible oil and cloths.
