‘Inform young generations about true national history’

09 December 2015, Nirapad News: The teachers, guardians and every conscious citizen should inform the young generations about the true national history and heroism of their ancestors in snatching away independence through the War of Liberation in 1971.

Commander of district unit of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad (BMS) Mosaddek Hossain Bablu made these observations while addressing a discussion at Rangpur Collectorate School & College ground here on Tuesday afternoon as the chief guest.

The authority of Rangpur Collectorate School & College organised drawing and essay writing competitions for the students at its campus followed by the discussion and prize distribution ceremony in observance of the Great Victory Day-2015.

With Principal of the educational institution Mrs. Manjuara Parveen in the chair, its teachers and students, parents, guardians, civil society members, professionals and local elite of the city attended the occasion followed by a colourful cultural function.

Coordinator of Rangpur Collectorate School & College Nahid Farid, its Discipline Coordinator Chowdhury Rawshan Ara and a number of guardians and students of the institution also addressed.

The chief guest elaborately narrated the genocides and atrocities committed against humanity by the anti-liberation forces, including war criminals, al-badrs, razakars and al-shams on this soil during the War of Liberation in 1971.

“The anti-liberation forces are still hatching conspiracies against the country though they were defeated in 1971 through the War of Liberation under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he said.

He said there is no place for the war criminals and anti- liberation forces on this soil and they must be tried for the crimes they committed against humanity by killing thirty lakh innocent Bangalees in 1971 to free the nation from the stigma.

He also called upon the teachers and guardians for informing the young generations about Bangabandhu, true national history on and War of Liberation to bring up them with real patriotic zeal and knowledge so that they could properly lead the nation in future.

Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among winners of the drawing and essay writing competitions.
