JCD president Rajib on 16-day remand
13 August 2015, Nirapad News: A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) president Rajib Ahsan on 16-day remand in eight cases filed against him with Paltan Police Station in city.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Masud Sheikh passed the order when police produced Rajib before the court with the 10-day remand plea in all eight cases each.
The court granted two-day remand to eight cases each, a total of 16 days.
Meanwhile, the court also granted the bail plea of BNP standing committee member MK Anwar in a case when he surrendered to the court and plead.
