JS body for informing lawmakers before transferring officers
7 October 2015, Nirapad News: Parliamentary Standing committee on public administration ministry today suggested the ministry to inform Members of Parliament before posting or transferring field level officers of their respective constituencies.
The committee also suggested the ministry to be cautious in giving posting or promotion to those officers who show less respect to War of Liberation and patriotism.
The suggestions were made at an emergency meeting of the committee held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its chairman HN Ashiqur Rahman today.
Committee members ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, R A M Obaedul Muktadir Chowdhury, Sukumar Ranjan Ghosh, Mustofa Lutfullah and Khorshed Ara attended the meeting.
The committee submitted a report on Public Servants (Marriage with Foreign Nationals) Bill, 2015′, placed at 10th session of the current parliament.
Senior secretary of public administration ministry and high officials of parliament secretariat were present.
