Koko’s Janaza held in Baitul Mukarram with a huge turn up of people
27 January 2015, Nirapad News: The second Namaj-e-Janaza of Arafat Rahman Koko, youngest son of late president Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, was held at the national mosque Baitul Mukarram in the city. The namaj-e-janaza was held at around 5:10pm Tuesday. The ambulance carrying the body of Koko arrived at Baitul Mukarram around 4.40 pm.
Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Prof Maulana Salahuddin Ahmed conducted the janaza. A huge mass of people as well as different party leaders along with BNP attended the Janaza and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
The body of Koko will be buried at Banani City Corporation Graveyard in the city, at block B, lane 18 and grave number 47.
