Listed terror Bablur arrested with firearms in Jessore

01 March 2016, Nirapad News: Police in a drive arrested a listed terrorist along with two foreign-made pistols, five bullets and a magazine from Shangkarpur village under Jhikargacha upazila in Jessore district early today.

The arrested was Bablur Rahman, 32, son of Rahjan Mullah of Moshikura village of the upazila.

On a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive at the village at about 3 am and arrested Bablur with the firearms and bullets from his house, said officer-in charge of Jhikargacha Thana Mullah Khabir Uddin.

Bablur was wanted in several cases in connection with violence, the OC added.

A case was filed with Jhikargacha Thana in this connection.
