A man was crushed under the wheels of train in Khilkhet area of the capital on Sunday morning.
The identity of the deceased, aged around 35, could not be known yet. The deceased was a vagabond.
Khilkhet Police Station Sub-inspector (SI) Md Zahangir Khan said the accident took place around 6 am at Khilkhet rail-crossing.
On information, police rescued him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue.
