Nadeem elected member of major diplomats’ forum in London

16 March 2016, Nirapad News: Diplomatic Press Attaches Association London (DPAAL) has elected press minister of Bangladesh High Commission to UK as a member of its Liaison Committee, said a statement received today.

“Nadeem Kadir, (also) a UN Dag Hammarskjold Fellow in journalism, is the first ever Bangladeshi diplomat to become a member of DPAAL,” the Bangladesh high commission statement said.

It said Nadeem secured the third highest vote in the election of the board of DPAAL that aims to create a forum where Press Attach’s could network with each other and the British media and pursue common goals within their diplomatic missions.

Nadeem is a career journalist who previously worked for the national and international media for over 35 years.

He joined the Bangladesh High Commission in London, in May, 2015.
