Nasim asks Khaleda to stop conspiracy against state
14 November 2015, Nirapad News: Awami League presidium member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim today called upon BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to do people’s politics shunning the path of conspiracy against state from abroad.
“I would like to request Begum Khaleda Zia not to remain a fugitive abroad. Fleeing away from the country can’t be regarded as politics. Come back home and do politics. Take preparations for the next national polls,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at a function in the city.
The senior leader of the ruling Awami League made this call at a discussion followed by a prize distribution ceremony organised by Mohanagar Sarbajanin Puja Udjapan Committee on the premises of Dhakeshwari National Temple marking the Bijoya reunion.
President of the committee JL Bhowmick presided over the discussion, also addressed, among others, by principal of Ramkrishna Mission Moharaj Swami Drubeshananda, chairman of Shaheed Mansur Ali Medical College Laila Nasim, Haji Md Selim, MP, and Awami Swechchasebak League General Secretary Pankaj Debnath, MP.
Urging Begum Zia not to flee away from the field of the national polls of 2019, Mohammad Nasim said, “Why you used to flee from the field of polls? It’s can’t be treated as politics in any way. I hope you will participate in the next polls.”
“There is no dearth of demons in the country. A vested quarter has been hatching conspiracy to topple an elected government from power. The Durga Puja festival was celebrated very successfully across the country by defeating all the conspiracies,” he said warning that stern action would be taken against those who would be found creating anarchy in the country.
Later, Mohammad Nasim distributed prizes among president and general secretaries (recipients) of different puja pandals in three categories for presenting best creative idols of the Goddess (Protima), best dresses and decorations and best publication on the occasion of the festival.
