No Malaysia visa for Bangladesh diplomats, government officials
16 October 2015, Nirapad News: Diplomats and government officials of Bangladesh will not require visa to go to Malaysia from October 15 on.
Bangladesh high commission to Kuala Lumpur confirmed the matter Thursday morning.
A high officials of the high commission said that the diplomats and government officials will be exempted from Malaysian visa from October 15 following the treaty between the governments of the two countries.
They will get a special travel pass from the airport, the official added.
According to the envoy, the treaty was signed in home ministry level of the both countries during Bangladesh premier’s visit to Malaysia.
Bangladesh high commissioner Shahidul Islam told over telephone that it was a step forward to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
