Noor urges BNP to try their popularity on the streets
19 March 2015, Nirapad News: Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor urged BNP to refrain from politics of killing people in the name of hartal-blockade and try their popularity by holding demonstration on the streets.
“People won the fear. You (BNP) can’t scare us anymore through killing. If you (BNP) have the popularity, please come to street. A political movement can’t be possible by giving statements through television from an isolated place,” he said at function in the capital.
Criticizing heavily on BNP-Jamaat for creating obstacle in holding SSC examination, the minister urged all to resist any conspiracy of holding back the ongoing development of the country.
The minister was handing over cheque of group insurance of late workers of garments industries.
Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) organized the function with its president M Atiqul Islam in the chair at Nurul Quader auditorium of BGMEA Bhaban at Karwanbazar here.
