A Chattogram court on Sunday rejected the bail petition of suspended OC Pradeep Kumar in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Chattogram Metropolitan Senior Special Sessions Judge Sheikh Ashfaqur Rahman passed the order after hearing on the case.
An ACC lawyer Mahmudul Haque Mahmud said the court rejected the bail plea of Pradeep Kumar today who was shown arrested on September 14, 2020, in the corruption case.
On August 23, last year, Md Riaz Uddin, assistant director of the anti-graft body, lodged the case against Pradeep Kumar and his wife for amassing wealth illegally.
