Palak nominated young global leader

16 March 2016, Nirapad News: The World Economic Forum has nominated State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak as the Young Global Leader 2016.

The forum has announced the name of Zunaid Ahmed Palak and other most distinguished leaders under the age of 40 at their website this evening, an official release said here.

Palak has been nominated as one of the 12 leaders in the South Asia region.

“I am honored for this prestigious recognition by the World Economic Forum that would allow the extensive opportunity to connect with the global diverse community,” the state minister said in his reaction.

He was elected Member of the Parliament in 2008 at the age of 28-year-old and re-elected in 2014.

He was sworn in as a State Minister on 12 January 2014 at the age of 34 years which made him as the youngest member of the Cabinet. He has been playing a very proactive role in enhancing quality of life of the general people by leveraging ICT.

He has shown great commitment to promote IT/ITeS industry, innovation and IT entrepreneurship and expand e-Governance and e-service delivery platform in Bangladesh.
