People can receive the coronavirus vaccine during the daytime in Ramadan while fasting, said Islamic Foundation.
Religious Affairs Ministry on Monday issued a press release in this regard after a view exchange meeting held at the Islamic Foundation on Sunday.
Director General of the Islamic Foundation Dr Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahman presided over the meeting while Religious Affairs Secretary Mohamamd Nurul Islam was present as the chief guest.
During the meeting, they said as the vaccine doesn’t enter the stomach directly it will not break the fast. So, the vaccine will not break fast if any person receive it in the day time.
