PM exchanges greetings with Queen Elizabeth

20 April 2018, Nirapad news: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, now in London to attend the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), has exchanged greetings with British Queen Elizabeth II.

“The prime minister exchanged the greetings with Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace here last night,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters today.

The press secretary said the premier also exchanged greetings with Prince Charles at the same place.

Later, the prime minister along with other heads of government and leaders of the Commonwealth countries joined a dinner hosted by the Queen.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina attended different retreat sessions of the CHOGM at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle in the British capital today.

The 25th CHOGM formally kicked off in London yesterday with the participation of the heads of government and other leaders of 53 Commonwealth states.
