PM orders ‘zero tolerance’ for airports security

07 December 2015, Nirapad News: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered to show ‘zero tolerance’ in ensuring security at airports in the country.

She has also asked the law enforcers to arrest the person, who will try to enter the airport illegally.

The PM made this order at a cabinet meeting at secretariat in city on Monday afternoon.

Sources told banglanews that civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon placed the airport security issue at the meeting chaired by the PM.

The minister said that the airport security is being hampered as the supporters of some VIP passengers reportedly enter the airports.

In reply, the premier asked the authorities concerned to show ‘zero tolerance’ in ensuring the safety and security at the airports.
