PM undergoes checkup at Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Memorial Hospital
On her arrival at the hospital this morning, the Prime Minister was received by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital Joitun Solaiman and Director Arif Mahmud.
The Premier herself went to the counter of the hospital for registration and paid the registration and checkup fees.
The Prime Minister’s health checkup began under the supervision of country’s renowned medicine specialist Professor Dr ABM Abdullah.
Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist Professor Dr Pran Gopal Dutta examined ear, nose and throat of Sheikh Hasina, while noted ophthalmologist Professor Dr Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque examined her eyes.
Eminent ophthalmologist and PM’s former advisor on Health and Social Welfare Professor Dr Syed Modasser Ali was present there. Dr Waziha Akhter Jahan, Dr Bonjaba and Dr Shahana Ferdous also took part in the health checkup of the Prime Minister.

PM’s personal staff were present.
The Prime Minister prefers this hospital for medical checkup as country’s renowned physicians, including the above-mentioned ones, provide healthcare services to patients regularly at the hospital.
She also gives financial assistance to each patient undergoing treatment at this hospital on behalf of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust.
Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib KPG Memorial Hospital started its journey on November 18, 2013 under a joint initiative of KPG of Malaysia and Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
Since its inception, this hospital has earned the appreciation of all quarters for its improved healthcare services like medicine, surgery, gynaecology, paediatric, eye, ENT, neuro-medicine, cardiology.
