Polish deputy minister calls on Shahriar Alam
17 Septembar 2015, Nirapad News: Poland deputy minister of treasury Zdzislaw Gawlik called on Bangladesh state minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam in ministry in city Wednesday.
At the outset of the meeting the Polish deputy minister appreciated re-opening of Bangladesh embassy in Warsaw and observed that this would facilitate strengthening existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
He expressed Poland’s interest in exploring full potential of economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Poland for the benefit of the two nations.
Agreeing on the opinion of the Polish deputy minister, Shahriar Alam put emphasis on exchange of business delegation between Bangladesh and Poland.
He also observed that technical cooperation from Poland may benefit mineral extraction and processing companies, chemical engineering institutions agro-food processing in Bangladesh.
In response, the visiting Polish minister gave assurance for further cooperation in these new fields.
A five member delegation led by Zdzislaw Gawlik is visiting Bangladesh on 16-17 September. A large business delegation is also accompanying Gawlik.
