Coming down heavily on Islaimist party Hefazat-e-Islam’s continuous violent activities, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has instructed the Awami League leaders and activists to prepare a list of the anarchists.
“A radical communal evil force named Hefazat-e-Islam is continuously carrying out violence to destabilise country’s peace which exceeded all level of tolerance. Sheikh Hasina’s government is pledged-bound to safeguard people’s life and property,” he said.
Obaidul Quader, also Awami League general secretary, asked his party men to make a list of the anarchists to face them politically.
He gave the instruction in a regular briefing held at his official residence on Wednesday.
Sounding a note of warning against the narchists, Obaidul said,”Country people have a limit of patience and tolerance. The consequences will be dire if the limit exceeds.
