08 March 2015, Nirapad News: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday filed a case against two people, including an urban planner of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), on graft changes.

ACC assistant director SM Rafiqul Islam filed the case with Motijheel Police Station in the capital, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya .

The case was filed against Rajuk deputy urban planner M Ashraf Ali Akond and senior executive director of Eastern Housing Limited Nazim Newaz Chowdhury.

According to the first information report (FIR), managing director of Buriganga Real Estate Limited Alamgir Hossain on behalf of his company submitted an application to Rajuk on August 27, 2013 seeking approval to use land of 16 katah in city’s Badda area.

Although the Buriganga Real Estate Limited had submitted all the necessary documents with its application, the two accused in collusion with each other did not give approval to use land for their personal gains and harass the representative of the Buriganga Real Estate.
