Rajuk’s land to be freed from illegal occupants: Minister Mosharaf Hossain
4 March 2015, Nirapad News: Rajuk will go for eviction drives in Narayanganj soon to free its lands from illegal occupants. Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharaf Hossain today said this while visiting Rajuk’s lands in Naryanganj town.
He said commercial and residential allotments would be given to city dwellers after constructing beautiful buildings on the lands after freeing from occupants.
The minister said about 38 acres of Rajuk lands are now using by illegal occupants and those lands should be freed soon. “There is ample scope to turn the Narayanganj city into an environment friendly green city,” Mosharaf observed.
A Rajuk office would be set up in the city for providing facilities to the city dwellers resulting they would not go to the capital for getting approval of building plans and other activities.
The minister visited different places including Solimullah road, poura Hawkers market, Press Club, DIT market on Bangabandhu road.
