Rashed Khan Menon says “Khaleda inspires militancy, terrorism”
11 February 2015, Nirapad News: Civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon said on Tuesday that, Begum Khaleda Zia was burning people to death in the name of movement like the Pakistani occupation forces who committed crimes in 1971.
“They want to destroy democracy by inspiring militancy and terrorism,” he said this while expressing his solidarity with a human chain organized by Motijeel Thana Women Policing Coordination Committee in front of Motijheel Ideal School and College.
Menon said the people of the country want peace thus they have come out to the streets to resist those who were involved in the killing of people.
Joint secretary general of Dhaka city Awami League and Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam also expressed solidarity with the human chain and said dialogue could not be held with those who are killing people in the name of movement.
President of the organization Farhana Doli presided over the anti-terrorist human-chain that was addressed, among others, by member secretary Morsheda Akthar, Minu Chowdhury and Sheikh Sekandar Ali.
