Relatives to go to Malaysia to bring Koko’s body
25 January 2015, Nirapad News: Relatives of Arafat Rahman Koko along with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger brother Shamim Eskandar may go to Malaysia to bring back Koko’s dead body in Bangladesh.
The representatives of Khaleda Zia’s family are set to leave Dhaka today,a BNP insider confirmed to press in this regard minutes after Koko’s death was announced.
No BNP men or relatives could say about when his dead body would arrive in Bangladesh and where he would be buried. But relatives along with Tarique Rahman will decide after Janazah in Malaysia on details of Koko’s burial.
The senior BNP leaders, activists and other relatives started to gather at Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office where she has been staying since January 5.
Earlier on Saturday, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko died in Malaysia.
Koko breathed his last at around 12:30pm (Bangladesh time) following a cardiac arrest.
