State Minister for Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain has informed that the ongoing restrictions will be ease in phases from August 11.
“Shops will have to reopen slowly. But, everybody will remain alert about coronavirus and to maintain health guidelines. In future, all will have to work and remain healthy too,” he said.
The minister said this while talking to journalists at the secretariat on Sunday.
Earlier on August 3, the government has extended the ongoing strict lockdown till August 10 ollowing an alarming surge in coronavirus cases across the country.
Bangladesh has been under a lockdown since July 23 last, barring people from leaving their homes except for essential reasons and it is set to expire on August 10.
