Road crash kills 2 Dakhil examinees.
30, March 2015, Nirapad News: 2 female Dakhil examinees were killed and four other people injured as a truck rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw carrying them on Dhaka-Bangabandhu link road in Kalihati Upazila of Tangail district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Marzina Akhter, daughter of Abdullah Miah, and Eliza Akhter, daughter of Ilias Ali of Beltia village in Kalihati Upazila of the district. Akheruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge (east) Police Station said the goods-laden truck hit the auto-rickshaw at Jokarchar around 1:30 pm, leaving auto-rickshaw passengers Marzina and Eliza dead on the spot and three other female Dakhil examinees and its driver injured.
The accident took place while the five students were returning home by the auto-rickshaw after the today’s examination. The injured were admitted to Tangail Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
