Seized ammo belong to India separatists
02 February 2015, Nirapad News: Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the arms and ammunition, seized from Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur district on February 1, belong to the separatists of India.
‘These were brought during the tenure of past BNP-led government,’ he added.
The minister made this disclosure to the media after a meeting with US ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia S Bernicat at the ministry in city on Tuesday (February 2).
However, the meeting was held over the bilateral assistance between US and Bangladesh in curbing money laundering and fighting terrorism.
‘The Bangladesh government has no relations with Indian separatists,’ the minister added.
