Shia man hacked dead in Jhenidah

15 March 2016, Nirapad News: A Shia man was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at Khorashani village in Kaliganj upazila on Monday night.

Quoting locals, officer in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station Anwar Hossain said the miscreants stabbed Abdur Razzaque, 40, son of late Hashem Ali, a resident of Khorashani village, while he was returning home from Kaliganj around 10:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Later, pedestrians spotted the body of Razzaque, a Shia preacher and a homeopath physician by profession, and informed the police.
