Six BNP leaders expelled
22 December 2015, Nirapad News: Six grassroots BNP leaders have been expelled from the party on charge of violating its discipline.
They are Chittagong’s Chandanaish Poura BNP president Nurul Anwar, general secretary Sirajul Islam, Rajshahi’s Charghat Poura BNP president Kamruddin Sarder, Arani Poura BNP convener M Nazrul Islam Master, Narayanganj’s Tarabo BNP general secretary Shafiqul Islam Chowdhury and Tangail’s Sakhipur upazila BNP member Sanwar Hossain Sajib.
A press release signed by BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Monday night said the six BNP leaders were expelled from the party also for their involvement in the activities that go against the party interest.
Party insiders said the punitive action against the six BNP leaders were taken following their dispute with the central leaders over the municipal polls.
