Six sued over Khijir Khan killing
7 October 2015, Nirapad News: A case was filed against six people with Badda Police Station on Tuesday night in connection with the killing of former Power Development Board (PDB) Chairman Khijir Khan.
Sub-inspector of Badda Police Station Khan Nurul Islam said victim’s son Ashraful Islam filed the case with the police station against six unidentified people.
In the meantime, Sub-inspector Aminul Islam, of the same police station, has been made investigation officer of the killing case, Nurul Islam added.
Earlier, on Monday evening, a group of 6-7 unidentified miscreants entered the six-storey building of Khijir Khan at Gudaraghat of Badda.
The gangsters first tied his family members on the 2nd floor and then slaughtered Khijir Khan after tying two women and a child, who were staying in the Khanka Sharif around 7pm.
Being informed, police recovered the slaughtered body on Monday night.
