Tim Southee was the man to destroy the England batting. He hit first, sending both English openers – IR Bell and MM Ali – to the pavilion. Tim Southee stroke again, bagging JWA Taylor, JC Buttler, JCR Woakes SCJ Broad and ST Finn one by one.

Tim Southee, on his bowling spell, said: “It’s a bit of a blur at the moment. We’re good swing bowlers and even losing the toss, the ball swung around all innings.”
