Speaker condoles death of Journalist Habibur Rahman Milon

14 June 2015, Nirapad News: Jatiya Sangsad Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Chief Whip have expressed profound shock at the death of veteran Journalist Habibur Rahman Milon, said an official release here today.

In a condolence message, Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said Habibur Rahman Milon was a dedicated Journalist. His wisdom and devotion to work have established him at a different height, said the Speaker.

The Speaker also wished his eternal peace and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.

Deputy Speaker M Fazley Rabbi Mia said “Ekushey award winner journalist Habibur Rahman Milon was devoted to work. His death causes an irreparable loss of the country.”

Bangladesh has lost an intelligent journalist at the death of Habibur Rahman Milon, said Chief Whip ASM Feroz in a condolence message,

Habibur Rahman Milon, Chairman of the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) and Advisory Editor of the Daily Ittefaq, died at Lab Aid Hospital at around 3am on Sunday at the age of 78.

He was suffering from old age complications including kidney and lung diseases for a long time.
