SSC English 2nd paper Exam held with wrong set of question
Chapainawabganj, 15 February 2015, Nirapad News: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) English 2nd paper test was taken with a wrong set of question in a examination centre of Chapainawabganj district.
The incident took place at Harimohan Government High School centre on Saturday, the district’s Education Officer Mokhlesur Rahman Akand said.
Rajshahi board was supposed to use the set ‘Kha’ but the school’s Headmaster Abdul Latif, who is also the secretary of the centre, brought the question paper of ‘Ka’ set from the treasury office in the morning.
A total of 1,379 students took test on that set of questions. The mistake was detected after the examination. Abdul Latif said he informed the board authorities about the matter and handed over the answer sheets to the board.
District Education Officer Akand and Rajshahi Education Board’s Exam Controller Shamsul Kalam Azad said steps would be taken against the secretary of the centre and treasury officials. Inter-board coordinating sub-committee chief Prof Abu Bakr Siddique said the exam would not be held again.
