Superman star Henry Cavill rumored to be cast in the next Fifty Shades Of Grey film
23 July 2015, Nirapad News: Superman star Henry Cavill is playing it coy over rumors he’s set to get pulses racing in the next Fifty Shades Of Grey movie.
The British actor, 32, didn’t deny it when asked by E! if he’s joining the cast of the erotic blockbuster.
Cavill was asked about Fifty Shades while on the promotional trail for his new film The Man From U.N.C.L.E, and his response did little to end the speculation by fans.
‘Oh what do I say to this one?’ he asks co-star Armie Hammer when quizzed about the rumors during a London press junket.
But Hammer was little help, bursting into laughter at the question and admitting it was the first he was hearing the casting rumors.
‘Please tell me you’re doing Fifty Shades Of Grey,’ begs Hammer as a coy Cavill grins.
‘Basically what I can say is I can’t say anything about it right now,’ Cavill finally told E!
The handsome actor is thought to be playing Anastasia Steele’s publishing house boss Jack Hyde in the second Grey film.
In EL James’ erotic trilogy, Hyde is ‘a man with with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your heart,’ according to E!
Fans will be relieved to know Jamie Dornan is set to return as billionaire Christian Grey, with Dakota Johnson reprising her role as college student Anastasia.
Cavill can next be seen as a CIA agent in The Man From U.N.C.L.E., which was directed by Guy Ritchie.
He starred as Superman in 2013 blockbuster Man Of Steel.
The actor will also star in next year’s highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, with Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
