Supreme Court stays Mirza Abbas’ release from jail
14 March 2016, Nirapad News: The Supreme Court appellate division stayed the High court order that granted bail to BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas for a week in a graft case.
The five-member appeal bench led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha on Monday (March 14) passed the order after hearing a petition of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Joynul Abedin moved for the ACC in the hearing.
