Swastika Mukhopadhyay to perform at IGCC
17 Septembar 2015, Nirapad News: Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in collaboration with Aurobindo Institute of Culture, Kolkata is going to organize evening of Panchakabi songs at its auditorium .
Swastika Mukhopadhyay, Senior Faculty and Professor in the Department of Rabindra-Sangeet at Sangeet Bhavan, Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan, has scheduled to perform of the Panchakabi songs, said an IGCC press release today.
Swastika has been raised in a musical atmosphere since her childhood. She discovered the world of Rabindranath Tagore’s music when she came to study at Visva-Bharati University, Shantiniketan. Her first formal training in Rabindra-Sangeet was under the noted singer Nilima Sen.
All are cordially invited to attend in evening of Panchakabi songs at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, House No. 35, Road No. 24, Gulshan-1.
Entry is open and there is no need to collect invitation pass. No bags are allowed within the IGCC premise during the program.
