Taiwanese couple attack case: Jahangir placed on 3-day remand
07 November 2015, Nirapad News: A court on Saturday placed Mohammad Jahangir, ex employee of injured Taiwanese couple, on a three-day remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Emdadul Haque passed the order this afternoon after Sub Inspector of Uttara East thana and Investigation Officer of the case Mohammad Anowar Hossain submitted a ten-day remand plea.
Earlier on Friday, Shamir Hasib, manager of the factory of the Taiwanese nationals, filed a case with Uttara Police Station in this connection.
The Taiwanese couple was injured by some employees in their residence at Uttara in the capital on Thursday night.
Injured Wang Ming Chee, 54, and his wife Lily Hawa, 50, were admitted to a private hospital in the city early Friday.
They also alleged that the miscreants looted Tk 6 lakhs from the house.
