Teenage boy commits suicide in Magura

19 Septembar 2015, Nirapad News: A teenage boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Gopinathpur village in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Debashish Pramanik,17, son of Joyanto Pramanik, a resident of the area.

Police, quoting family members, said Debashish hanged himself with a scarf from the ceiling fan in his room in the morning in a huff with his mother and died on the spot.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Magura Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Asaduzzaman Munsi confirmed the incident.

A case was filed in this regard.
