Three indicted in Rakib murder case
6 October 2015, Nirapad News: A Khulna court on Monday framed charges against three accused in the gruesome murder of teenage boy Rakibul Islam Rakib in Tutpara area of Khulna city on August 3.
The court also fixed October 11 for the beginning of deposition recording of the case.
Through indictment of three accused, the trial procedure of the brutal killing has been started.
Metropolitan Session Judge Court passed the orders at noon in presence of all the accused.
Earlier, Prime accused Sharif, owner of motorcycle garage, employee of the garage Mintu and Sharif’s mother Beauty Begum were produced before court from jail.
Public prosecutor of the court Sultana Rahman Shilpy said deposition will be recorded for five days from October 11.
On August 3, a 12-year old boy Rakib, son of Nur Alam Howlader of Tutpara Central Road area was tortured to death over quitting job from Sharif garage near Tutpara graveyard area in Khulna.
Rakib’s father Nur Alam Howlader filed a case with Khulna Kotwali Police Station against the aforesaid people.
On August 25, Investigation officer sub-inspector (SI) Mushtak Ahmed submitted the chargesheet to Khulna Metropolitan Magistrate Sukumar Biswas.
