Titas Gas MD Nowshad sacked after Banani fire from line leak

21 March 2016, Nirapad News: The acting managing director of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd Naushad Islam was removed on charge of irregularities.

Senior information officer of power, energy & mineral resources ministry Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin confirmed the matter  on Sunday (March 20).

Titas Gas’ general manager (vigilance) Mir Mashiur Rahman was appointed as acting MD, he added.

Meanwhile, Petrobangla sources said Naushad Islam has been appointed as MD of Maddhapara Granite Mining Company Ltd.
