Tk 2crore for disability or death in Makkah crane tragedy
16 Septembar 2015, Nirapad News: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman ordered to give SR1 million (Tk 2-crore) each of the kin of those who died as well as those who suffered permanent disability in the crane crash tragedy.
Those who suffered injuries in the crash will get SR500,000 each and two relatives of the dead foreign pilgrims will be the King’s guests for the Hajj of 2016.
Quoting Saudi Press Agency, local media reported that those pilgrims who are unable to perform Hajj due to their injury will be brought to perform Hajj next year as the King’s guests.
As for those pilgrims who are supposed to remain at hospitals for some more time, their relatives will be granted special visit visas to take care of them at hospitals during the remaining period of the Hajj season until they return home.
A Bangladesh national was identified among the 111 killed and 40 hajj pilgrims were injured in crane collapse at the Grand Mosque in Makkah of Saudi Arabia. All but Sarder Abdur Rob left hospital after treatment.
