Tofail leaves for Germany tomorrow to join G-7 Conference
09 March 2015, Nirapad News: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will leave for Germany tomorrow to join the two-day G-7 Stakeholder Conference in Berlin slated for March 10 and 11.
He is going to Germany in response to the invitation of German Federal Minister for Labour and Welfare Andrea Nahles and German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Dr Gerd Muller, an official release said here today.
Germany, now serving as the president of G-7, is organizing the conference for the groundwork of Global Enforcement of Social and Environmental Standard.
Bangladesh will raise its voice at the conference so that no obstacles to exporting RMG and other goods are arisen.
The G-7 member countries are France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States and Canada.
The commerce minister will also highlight Bangladesh’s economic development and increase of per capita income, export, remittance, forex reserves, etc.
He is likely to return home on March 16.
