Two fast food shops fined Tk 18,000 in Rajshahi
8 October 2015, Nirapad News: Two fast food shops were fined Taka 18,000 on charge of selling unhygienic and substandard foods to the customers in the city yesterday afternoon, officials concerned here said today.
A team of Department of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP)
conducted raid in Bhatapara and Shalbagan markets and found Adibhut Fast Food and Razia Chinese and Community Center preparing, possessing and selling foods in unhygienic condition.
Subsequently, the team fined Taka 6,000 and Taka 12,000 against the shop owners respectively and realized the fined money instantly.
Saiful Islam, Assistant Director of DNCRP, told that such drive against the violations of consumers’ rights will be continued during the days ahead.
