Warrant issued against Tarique, Fakhrul
20 January , Nirapad News : Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat issued an arrest-warrant-against BNP Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman and acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in a defamation case.
AB Siddique, president of Bangladesh Jononetri Parishad, a pro-Awami league organisation, filed the case against the duo for calling the Awami League black sheep party and Sheikh Hasina the leader of black sheep .
He also defamed Bangabandhu by claiming that Ziaur Rahman was the country’s first president.
On the other hand Mirza Fakhrul distorted the history by saying that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman uttered Joy Pakistan in his historical speech of 7th March.
