Woman dies in Panchagarh as earthquake stirs panic
12 May 2015, Nirapad News: A woman died while rushing out of her house in panic when as an earthquake shook the country on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Nurun Nahar, 62, wife of Kolim Uddin, a resident of Khuniya Bhita in Tetulia upazila.
Ashraful Islam, a relative of Nurun Nahar, said Nurun died of cardiac arrest as she got panicked while rushing out of his house during the earthquake.
An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale with its epicentre in Nepal also hit Bangladesh, India and Afghanistan on followed by an aftershock, according to U.S. Geological Survey.
