Worker killed in Munshiganj factory boiler blast

10 November 2015, Nirapad News: A worker was killed and four others were injured in a boiler explosion at a fishing net factory at Muktapur Bagbari in Sadar upazila of Munshiganj district on early Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Sajeeb Bepari, 28, son of Shahid Bepari, a resident of the village. Witnesses said the boiler blasted with a big bang at Saudan Fishing Net Factory in the area at 1:00 am and fell off at a place half kilometer away, leaving Sajeeb, an operator of the factory, dead on the spot and four others injured. The blast hit a 33 kilovolt power transmitter disrupting power supply in the area. Work is continuing to restore electricity in the area. Five houses were also damaged in the blast. The injured workers –-Delwar, 26, Aman, 28, Yusuf, 28, and Mariam,24,– were admitted to Munshiganj Sadar Hospital. Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Nurul Islam confirmed the incident,
