Workshop on Ethics Teachers Training Course begins at JU

5 October 2015, Nirapad News: A five-day workshop on “Ethics Teachers Training Course” began at Jahir Raihan auditorium on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus here today.

JU Public Health and Informatics Department arranged the event in association with UNESCO while Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest.

A total of 35 teachers across the world participated at the workshop.

Former Advisor of World Health Organization (WHO) Professor M Muzaharul Haque, Professor of Philosophy Department of National University of Singapore D. Leonardo De Castro, Researcher of Oxford University Meherunnissa Suleman and Teacher of Philosophy Department of Namibia University Dr. Masud Nasr will take classes on the ethics.

Presided over by the chairman of JU Public Health and Informatics Department Professor Dr. Abdur Rahman, JU Pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain and Advisor of Asia Pacific Region of UNESCO Dr. Sue Vize addressed the function as special guests.
