Youth arrested with hemp in Sunamganj
13 October 2015, Nirapad News: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a young man in possession of two kilograms of hemp from Tegharia area in the district town on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Alal Miah,24, son of late Abdul Matin of Sakhaiet village in Sadar upazila.
Additional superintendent of police Kamruzzaman, commanding officer of RAB-9, said tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Alal at about 11:30 am.
Later, RAB members recovered two kilograms of hemp from his possession.
A case was filed in this connection.
