A pedestrian was killed when a pickup van hit him in capital’s Gulshan area early Sunday.
Deceased Saiful Islam, 40, was a resident of Badda in the city.
Gulshan Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Abul Hasan said the accident took place on the Progoti Soroni around 4:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police, later, recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue.
