2nd dose vaccination starts amid high rise of COVID infection

The government has started giving second dose of COVID-19 vaccine across the country amid high rise of corona deaths and infection.

The second phase of vaccination programme began at 8am.

But those yet not take the first one, are coming to the centres for vaccine.

The first phase of the mass inoculation drive in the country began on February 7.

The authorities of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) are giving the second dose at its eight booths.

State Ministers for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak received their second dose of the COVID vaccine at the BSMMU.

Earlier health secretary said, We must have to use facemask despite taking vaccine. We will safe, if careful enough.”
