Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on behalf of the Prime Minister on the occasion of historic Mujibnagar Day.
The Minister paid tribute by placing a wreath at Bangabandhu’s portrait— in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi—in Dhaka on Saturday morning.
Awami League presidium member Matia Chowdhury, its joint general secretaries Dr Hasan Mahmud, AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Afzal Hossen, organizing secretaries Ahmed Hossen, BM Mozammel Haque, Mirza Azam and Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel were also present.
